APRI’s mission is to provide a compassionate, non-judgmental, and collaborative response to the needs of people living with, affected by, and at risk for HIV. APRI strives to accomplish its mission through leadership in prevention, education, supportive services, and advocacy. APRI serves more than 1,500 people every year. Services include HIV/STI testing, case management, emergency financial assistance, bus passes, mental health, and substance use counseling, a food pantry, nutritional support access to oral health care, PrEP and PEP, and more.

Services are provided in all Rhode Island communities.
Individuals may self-refer.
