Enhanced Case Management provides extended foster care and case management for young people ages 18 to 23 exiting the state child welfare system. Enhanced Case Management offers supports and advocacy to connect to adult-focused community-based supports including life skills training, education and employment assistance, mental health services, budgeting, and financial education. Served youth may be college students, young parents, have disabilities or be medically fragile, need immigration assistance, or identify as LGBTQIA+.
Available to individuals 18-23 phasing out of the state foster care system.
Available in all Rhode Island communities with a qualifying referral.
Referrals are made by the Department of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF).
