Serving 16 Providence elementary, middle, and high schools providing mental health services to students, teachers, and administrators. Students receive individual or group psychotherapy sessions to help them address presenting problems such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, anger management, and mood disorders. Students increase their skills in self-regulation, impulse control, problem-solving, and empathy. To maximize student school success, clinicians work collaboratively with teachers and administrators so that the school, student, and their caregivers are part of wellness and treatment plans. Clinical training and consultation are provided for teachers and administrators to develop their understanding and effective implementation of a variety of social-emotional learning strategies and interventions that can be used to support specific students while also benefiting every classroom.
